These are the images I took at abandoned houses in woop-woop, really interesting places with only a few musty parts of the houses which was a great change to the last place I ventured into.
Trying to do some effects with tools I now know. I was trying to create objects that I can use for my first assignment. Above I used the pencil tool to draw swirls over it's self.
The finished product didn't have many white gaps so I used the pathway that cropped the top intersection.
3D Bottles
I created a few bottles for the smokes and bubbles to come out of. For the final project I can alter the width, height and the colour to create more diversity. This is so I don't have to create a whole lot of different bottles
Inspired By Torture Willow
I then used the paint tool and chose a charcoal stroke to paint branches inspired by the song which reminded me of the willow in my house.
For project one we have to respond to a piece of music, I chose a random song on my i-pod from the soundtrack of 'Good-bye Lenin'. I had no idea what the movie was about until I spotted it in my video shop. How I responded to the piece in illustrator didn't really keep the theme of the music. For the life of me, I can't find a youtube video of the who orchestrated version of the song called 'Dishes'.
I did find one short version of a person playing the piano part, but it isn't the same
There's the whose section missing with the clarinets and oboes which really create a different atmosphere. It gave me the image of a laboratory filled with smoke, bottles, branches and other random things.
So I think I'll try to create 3D bottles and smoke-like things to create a sort-of lab.
Going back to uni and going back into working in Illustrator and Photoshop. Well honestly, I don't know anything about illustrator, luckily a family friend offered to give me a helping hand with all the tools. 6 hours later I think I had a better idea and a headache :/
I was shown through the tools, how to create pathways, about grouping objects ect.
